I'm a professional mechanical engineer with twenty-five years in consulting engineering — most of it leading other people's delivery. As Technical Director at Zutari I led international MEP teams on projects like MISK Schools in Riyadh, Yas Mall in Dubai and Parramatta Light Rail in Sydney; at Royal HaskoningDHV I built and ran a multidisciplinary advisory business of up to 30 people, accountable for delivery, market development and financial performance.
Both halves of Inokrate come out of that. The engineering is the work itself — design, ventilation compliance, the packages I can take responsibility for. The operations work is what I learned running the delivery around it. I'm also co-owner of two ventures, Fiftyknots and GiTRiBE.
